Submit A Case

Due to an increasing volume of calls and limited resources the Midwest Innocence Project will not be accepting any calls at this time. If you would like to contact the intake department, you may do so in writing to Midwest Innocence Project 300 E 39th St Kansas City, MO 64111 or via email at intake@themip.org.

  • MIP Only Accepts Cases in which the Applicant:

    • is claiming actual innocence, in other words, that they did not participate in the crime.
    • Was convicted in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, or Arkansas.
    • is currently incarcerated and has more than 10 years left to serve on his/her sentence.
    • has exhausted their appeals and is not currently represented by an attorney.
