Rubith Cordova, Staff Attorney – Arkansas Review

Rubith Cordova joined the Midwest Innocence Project in 2022 as the Arkansas Review Staff Attorney. In her role, she investigates, reviews, and litigates innocence cases in the state of Arkansas.

Rubith believes in community-based lawyering. She believes legal solutions work best when the voices of those directly impacted are uplifted and centered.  As a proud Iowan, Rubith is excited about advocating for a reliable and just criminal legal system within MIP’s five state region.

As a first-generation college graduate, Rubith is proud to have earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Drake University. Outside of work, Rubith loves listening to podcasts, baking treats, and hunting for her favorite records.
