Jessa Molina, (she/her/hers), Social Work Intern
Jessa Molina earned a Bachelors Degree from the State University of New York. She completed a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas with a certificate in Public and Non-Profit Management. She is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Social Work at Fort Hays State University. Jessa is a Social Work Intern for the Midwest Innocence Project. In her role, she will assist the Social Work team in case management, facilitate a support group and participate in community level advocacy. Jessa is passionate visionary driven to build a future society that is just and equitable.
Outside of her internship, Jessa has worked for Johnson County Government since 2016 where she has held a variety of roles such as case manager for Johnson County Mental Health. She currently works for Johnson County Planning, Housing and Community Development where she helps create equitable housing opportunities for vulnerable populations.
Jessa is a competitor and played various sports in high school including volleyball, soccer, softball, tennis and basketball. She went on to play basketball in college. In her free-time, Jessa likes to spend time staying active, playing pickleball and hanging out with friends and family.
