Lindsey Pfannenstiel, (she, her/hers), Social Worker
Lindsey Pfannenstiel earned her bachelor’s degree in social work, with a minor in criminal restorative justice, from Bethel College. She recently completed her master’s degree in clinical social work at Fort Hays State University, where she also served as a social work intern for the Midwest Innocence Project during her master-level practicum.
Now, as a social worker at MIP, Lindsey supports the team through case management, crisis intervention, outreach services, and assisting freed and exonerated individuals with reentry into society. She is deeply committed to human relationships, the dignity and worth of every person, and upholding integrity in her work.
Before working with MIP, she gained experience in Newton, KS, working with unhoused populations at New Hope Homeless Shelter Inc. and at Newton High School, where she spent a year supporting students and families in a multidisciplinary setting.
Outside of MIP, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, Sadie and Sumé, photographing for her photography business, and finding a great coffee shop to enjoy the atmosphere and read a good book.
